Have you started shopping for holiday gifts? Visit these South Bend fairs and stores for a head start.

The holidays are coming up, and it's never too soon to start shopping! Fortunately, South Bend has plenty of community sales and local businesses to choose from. Shopping local this holiday season will help show your love and support for South Bend. Here are a few sales and stores our real estate agents recommend.

  • Howard Holiday Market
    This festive outdoor market is hosted by South Bend Venues Parks & Arts and held at Howard Park during the three weekends following Thanksgiving: November 26-28, December 3-5, and December 10-12. The market offers free admission and features holiday crafts and artisan goods, live entertainment, and holiday food and drink available for purchase. The outdoor venue also offers ice skating, fire pits to warm you up, and beautiful holiday light displays. Check out everything the holiday market has to offer Fridays 5:00 - 8:00 pm, Saturdays 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, and Sundays 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

  • Mishawaka Parks Holiday Craft Fair
    Neighboring Mishawaka also has a holiday craft fair hosted in the Battell Community Center at 904 N Main Street in Mishawaka. The fair is a perfect place to find unique, handmade gifts for all of your loved ones, and to keep your holiday spending money in the community. You'll also find plenty of handmade holiday decor to help you get in the mood for the holiday season. Check it out on Saturday, November 20th, from 7 am until 11 am. The morning hours are perfect if you want to check out Mishawaka homes for sale afterward.

  • Made With Grace Fall Bazaar
    Another craft sale happening this Saturday is the Made With Grace Bazaar, hosted by Grace United Methodist Church at 3012 South Twyckenham Drive in South Bend. This popular annual fall show offers a variety of homemade gifts from artisans and local creative small businesses. Drop in between 9 am and 2 pm Saturday, November 20th, and stock up on unique holiday gifts for your friends and loved ones.

  • Inspire Me
    South Bend is also full of small businesses and locally owned stores where you can find creative gifts for the holiday season. Inspire Me, located at 528 East Colfax Avenue in South Bend, is a unique and boutique store offering a hand-picked assortment of women's clothing, jewelry, and gifts. Inspire Me is open Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm, making it a perfect errand to run while in town to see South Bend homes for sale.

  • Council Oak Antiques
    If handmade gifts aren't quite what you're looking for, you can still find plenty of unique holiday gifts at Council Oak Antiques, one of South Bend's local antique stores.
