There's no place like home for the holidays and the Saint Joseph is preparing a holiday schedule stacked full of holiday events. Whether you're shopping for great gifts, taking in spectacular scenery or spending quality time with the kids, Saint Joseph is the place to be for the holidays.   • Annual Luminary Festival – November 17 to 23
    Kick off the holiday season in Saint Joseph by visiting the Annual Luminary Festival, where you can shop, dine, and take in the beautiful sights. During the festival, all of downtown St. Joseph is lit by 1,000 luminaries, which set the scene and provide atmosphere during your holiday shopping. There will be special sales, great deals, and fantastic meals available throughout the Annual Luminary Festival, so it's an ideal opportunity to spend some time downtown.

  • Shop Small Business Saturday – November 25
    A vibrant local small business scene is one of the perks of shopping Saint Joseph homes for sale, and Shop Small Business Saturday is the perfect opportunity to find some great gifts while giving back to the local economy. During the event, you'll find fabulous deals, fun events, and holiday shopping, so this is an excellent chance to support the businesses that make the community special.

  • Light Up the Bluff – December 1
    Get ready for a spectacular show and some great company when you visit Light Up the Bluff, Saint Joseph's annual tree-lighting ceremony. Lake Bluff Park is transformed with more than a million holiday lights, and you can be there to see the park come alive with light. The fun starts with Christmas carols from the St. Joseph High School Choir, and the tree-lighting ceremony begins shortly after with plenty of fun for the whole family.

  • 19th Annual Reindog Parade – December 2
    When we say every member of the family can enjoy the holidays in Saint Joseph, we're including your four-legged friends, too! Every year, the Reindog Parade is your chance to dress up your dog (and yourself) for some holiday fun. Participate in the parade with other "reindogs," or simply pull up a seat and enjoy the show. There are also plenty of great activities for kids throughout the parade.

  • Brunch with Santa – December 10
    Make holiday memories with your family and bring home a souvenir from Brunch with Santa at Plank's Tavern on the Water. Enjoy the best brunch buffet in Michigan and don't miss a photo op with Santa. This is always a great event for families in the Saint Joseph area, and this year will be no exception.

  • Santa's House – December 10
    After enjoying a meal with the man in red, why not stop by Santa's house to say hello? Located on the corner of Date and Pleasant Streets in downtown Saint Joseph, Santa's House is open for visits throughout the holiday season.
